slept super late last night in an attempt to do the superlong picture post and staring at the pictures i realised i didnt really change much throughout the year, despite the exco guys saying the face became smaller or something -.- anyway! we're really into the last day of two-oh-oh-eight! and....... it feels like any other day. not much excitement and everyone's pretty down to doing their normal stuffs, save for those party-goers.
anyway! after yi'an's much pestering and stress-me-out, ive finally started on the commonwealth/gp essay! and after one paragraph into the essay smartme went to look around to see if i can find the word cap on the essay and i saw this: 1400-1750. who freaking writes 1400words on bullying! =/ so much for trying to complete the essay, those numbers totally threw me off lah! so went off to msn jolyn instead :D hehe and spark off a class outing after homecoming wooohoooo! :) can't wait to see the fellow muggers xD and some random musing bout how i nvr did add binghowe and melvin on msn led to me adding them on msn. which explains the weird tags on the tagboard. it's all them, except the last one about bh being the actor. haha that's another person's masterpiece =)
ooh IA xmas party was enjoyable too :D with IA-ians from 2005 all the way to 2009 =] met amanda for lunch before meeting up with weijie to grab shirts then liangwei came and we went to artfriend and popular to buy some stuffs. bought JCO donuts to bring and went to amanda house while liangwei and weijie went to weijie house to grab food + throw everything else down (: and a whole drama happened at amanda's house which included dog poop, climbingover, keys and panic. go figure xD then rushed to shaun's condo and partayed away :))
shall go back to rotting the last day of 08 away :D
at long last! decided to forgo the whole word-y conclusion about 2008 and do away the whole reflection stuffs and do a picture post instead :D at least it's more cheerful and colourful! spent SOOOOO long putting up ALL the pics and arranging the same events one tgt i got too tired to put them from jan-dec =/ so just take a peep at the visuals as we all attempt to wrap up yet another eventful year of 2008!
Like how years all start- Orientation, 2008 was no exception! DHShine 08 in its 2nd running year was awesome for the year 2s done by exco + sport leaders, with juniors handling DHS Olympics 08 for the year 1s

Year 4 CIP! agreed to help mr siva with staff cip and we didnt regret it one bit! guess only our batch of scs does all these random stuffs eh :D lol! attempted to sing xi-shui-chang-liu and peng-you! haha EVEN I attempted the chinese songs :)
Miss Seow got me to do a speech for Open House 08 on DHS life and we couldnt have script! cause mr sng wanted it to be natural! thought i'd just die and freak out but i didnt (: everything went really good actually! saw pri sch junior kieran and his dad :D and everyone was super nice with their "good speech" especially mr sng! who thanked us all and said he didnt noe i could make good speeches must let me talk more :D love our principal! vaguely rmr getting bombarded by parents too!
OOH this one's memorable! mr teo invited all year 4 scs to his house for retreat cum BBQ and we had sooo much fun, escaping the rain while protecting the food from the rain and joking bout not having wet weather plan :) first encounter with ms tiong's husband too!

SC Investiture 2008 was really exco's baby of love, effort and everything else! made us super proud while watching the whole thing proceed. First ever SC Dance too! and fingers crossed for it to be passed down forever and ever :)

Survivor Kuala Lipis probably took up more time than any other thing but i can proudly say it was the bestest thing ever planned by us! a local camp COMBINED with the overseas one! haha who'd be as crazy as us exco to plan such a camp topped with nightwalks at 3am and fetching ALL 80 SCs' bags luggages and all secretly to the trainstation and making the last stop for streetechase the station :D gosh, and with chief eunice, tim and etc :D i'll nvr forget this in a long time to come! SURVIVOR KUALA LIPIS, the flame burns on. indeed.

and what great timing that my bday this year fell on EOY PAPER 1- MATHS! so i really didnt expect anything! year 4 scs popped by 4K before flag raising with cake + present and i was like OMG. and through the paper i was like worrying whether the ppl who did my present squeezed in any mugging time at all and was super guilty! clique + class celebrated after the paper!

after history paper (LAST PAPER), it seemed mandatory to celebrate so class (history half) girls decided to go NYDC in holland village :D nice waiter happily volunteered to take this for us and gave us all discount cards thereafter LOL.
since she love smileys, year 4 SCs celebrated missyeo's bdays with LOADS of smileys (: ps, look at the smiley cake!
hmm decided to forgo exco outing for karmens bday(sorry cow!) and went for class outing at ECP instead and clique went crazy walking running soaking in the heavy rain! heh! :) damn lots of fun and the best way to celebrate POST EOYS ever! think the class thought we were mad though xD
